Closing out Hawaiian Language Month with gratitude and aloha! 🌺✨ Let’s continue to honor ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i everyday, keeping its spirit alive for generations to come. E Ola ka ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i!

This past weeks recap sheds light on different common phrases/questions you might want to use. Below are a couple tips on how we can easily incorporate Hawaiian Language into our daily lives.⬇️

1) Use Hawaiian Greetings & Phrases Daily
- Say “Aloha” (hello/goodbye), “Mahalo” (thank you), and “Pehea ‘Oe?” (How are you?)
- Start and end your day with a Hawaiian phrase like “Aloha kakahiaka” (Good morning) or “A Hui Hou” (Until we meet again).

2) Label Household Items in Hawaiian
- Stick notes on objects with their Hawaiian names, like “puka” (door), “pākaukau” (table), and “moe” (bed).
