A Night to Remember – Flight of Aloha's Grand Opening Soars! April 5, 2025 will forever be one for the books! The Flight of Aloha's Grand Opening was an absolute blast from beginning to end—and we’re still riding the high from all the love, laughter, and aloha that filled the night. We kicked things off in the most meaningful way possible, with a beautiful blessing from Mom Shaw, the mother of our founder, Ola Shaw. Her words set the tone for the evening—grounded in gratitude, intention, and deep-rooted aloha. From there, the night truly took flight! The music lineup was nothing short of legendary. With performances by ʻOpihi Pickers, Keoni Thompson, Kimie Miner, Jordyn T, and the grand finale with the one and only Ekolu, the crowd was dancing under the stars and soaking up every beat. It was nothing but good vibes, sweet harmonies, and nonstop smiles. Guests wandered through a buzzing event space full of laughter, hugs, and community connections. Our silent auction was a massive success, raising over $5,000 for local nonprofits. This donation will go directly to support the Kahakukahi Foundation, and we couldn’t be more proud to give back to such an impactful organization. A special shoutout to our incredible vendors who brought such unique and beautiful products to share. Their presence helped showcase the amazing talent we have right here in our community, and reminded us all why it’s so important to support local. And of course, a massive mahalo to the King Kamehameha Hotel and their stellar banquets crew. The luau grounds made for the perfect backdrop—lush, breezy, and picture-perfect. We couldn't have asked for a more stunning setting to bring this dream to life. To everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and supported us—you made this night magical.
