  A: Children ages 4 and up require a ticket. Children ages 3 and under are free at parental discretion.

  Q: Do you offer discounts for Military, Seniors, or Groups?
  A: Yes! We offer special discounts for Military, First Responders, and Seniors at checkout (please present ID). For Group Rates, please call us directly or inquire at the ticket counter upon arrival.

  Q: Do you offer Kama‘aina rates for Hawaii residents?
  A: Yes. We offer exclusive rates for Hawaii residents on select packages. To book, please choose the “Kama‘aina” option from the dropdown menu during the online checkout process. A valid Hawaii State ID is required at check-in to confirm the rate.

  Q: What is Flight of Aloha? Is it a movie or a ride?
  A: Flight of Aloha is Hawaii’s cinematic flying theater. It combines a massive curved screen with a high-tech ride system that lifts you into the air, using wind, mist, and scents to simulate the feeling of flying. It offers the views of a helicopter tour with the comfort and safety of a theater.

  Q: Is Flight of Aloha a good rainy day activity in Kona?
  A: Yes. We are fully indoors and climate-controlled, making us the perfect activity when it is raining, too hot, or too windy for outdoor tours.

  Q: How does this compare to a helicopter tour?
  A: Guests often describe us as a “helicopter tour without the risk or high cost.” You get the same awe-inspiring aerial views of Hawaii’s landscapes, including areas inaccessible by foot, in a safe, cool, and comfortable environment for a fraction of the price.

  Comfort, Accessibility & Motion Sensitivities

  Q: I get motion sickness / I am afraid of heights. Can I still ride?
  A: Yes. Flight of Aloha is designed as a “gentle thrill.” Unlike roller coasters or turbulent helicopter rides, our motion is smooth and sweeping. We successfully host guests with mild vertigo and motion anxiety daily. If you are prone to severe motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions, but most guests find it very manageable and enjoyable.

  Q: Is the attraction wheelchair accessible?
  A: Yes. We are fully ADA compliant. We have specific locations for wheelchair users to view the film comfortably. Please let our staff know upon arrival if you require assistance or specific accommodations.

  Q: Is this suitable for young children or elderly guests?
  A: Absolutely. This is a multi-generational experience suitable for everyone from keiki (children) to kupuna (grandparents). It is a safe, seated experience with no drops or high-impact movement.

  Q: Is the show culturally respectful to Hawaii?
  A: Cultural integrity is our foundation. We are Native Hawaiian-owned and not a “tourist trap.” Our films are created in collaboration with cultural advisors, Kumu (teachers), and local storytellers to ensure we honor the history, legends, and spirit of the islands. We address sensitive topics, such as the resilience of Lahaina, with deep respect and care.
